Turn your charitable
dreams into reality by creating a charitable fund. This giving tool is
designed for individuals, families, and businesses who want to enhance
and support the communities in which they live, work, and conduct business.
As a donor, you will gain access to many charitable giving resources and
can look to the Foundation's knowledgeable staff for timely, personal
advice and assistance on charitable giving.
Define your charitable and financial objectives
- What
are your values? How can you support them?
- What
level of tax benefit do you seek?
- Would
you like to involve the next generation of your family?
Determine the fund's giving strategy
- Benefit
one or more charitable organization(s).
- Target
a special charitable interest such as after-school programming for young
people or civic engagement opportunities.
- Your
fund is as flexible as your changing interests.
Determine when and how much to give
- Create
a fund during your life.
- Create
a fund through your will or trust.
- Determine
intervals you would like to contribute.
Determine what assets to contribute

Name the fund
- Funds
can be named for you, the donor, or your family.
- Memorialize
someone special. Every grant from the fund carries their name.
- Choose
anonymity. Select a name reflecting your charitable purposes.
Sign the fund agreement
- Once
you complete and sign your fund agreement, the Foundation will begin
to help you meet your charitable objectives, assuring your philanthropic
wishes are met in perpetuity.
- Quarterly
advisor fund activity reports will be sent to you to assist in tracking
your charitable fund and grants made from it.
